POW
Usage:
POW A B
Inputs:
A | number or vector |
B | number or vector |
Outputs:
Y | number or vector (same type as A) |
Function:
Compute A to the power of B.
if A and B are numbers: | Y = AB |
if A is a vector and B a number: | Y[i] = A[i]B |
if A and B are vectors: | Y[i] = A[i]B[i] |
If A|A[i] is negative, B|B[i] must be an integer (automatic truncation of B)
If B|B[i] is negative, A|A[i] must be a nonzero value (otherwise result is set to 0
)
